This session is suitable for teachers new to teaching, new to year group or who require a refresher of year group expectations currently teaching in year 3, 4 or 5.
This session will support teachers to improve standards in reading through the:

Development of age-related subject knowledge in reading knowledge & skills

Exploration of the modelling of reading strategies in age-appropriate texts.
These sessions are suitable for teachers new to teaching, new to year group or who require a refresher of year group expectations.
The content will be similar to that delivered in previous years.
