These two-part sessions will support teaching teams with diagnostic assessment of writing and next steps. They will include two half-day's support from consultants in school - one in Autumn and one in Spring – to review pupils’ writing at a range of standards. Schools can select up to 2 year groups to receive this support.
LA Consultants will support teachers to use Assessment for Learning to:
If schools opt for this support, teachers should also attend the ‘Teaching & Assessing Writing’ and ‘Moderation Workshop’ sessions for their year group so they can apply the pedagogy and maximise impact. |
